Today seems a good day to repost this as I sit at Vicenzaoro in Vicenza, listening to sustainable business strategies in the jewellery industry.
I have fallen in love with the 100 Good Deeds bracelet. I suspect that it is because this is a habit I would love to keep for purely selfless reasons.

It’s not often I’d advocate putting plastic in the ocean, but when it comes to swimwear, Naïla Collection is reworking all the rules. The New York based brand founded by Naïla Chbib in 2008 launched its latest beach and swimwear line this evening with a poolside fashion show at the newly opened Urban Lounge at InterContinental Dubai Marina.

Why visit … because there’s something magical about Oman. Whenever I think of the sultanate, punctuating the images of sunsets, mountains and souks, my head spins with the heady scent of Frankincense.
When … you feel the need to see generous sunsets and sip Bloody Mary’s overlooking a sweeping vistas stretching beyond the horizon a mere 2,000 metres above sea level it’s time to head out past Muscat and upwards to the mountains and beyond.

Sarab, an abandoned village is just a few miles from the resort and is the original home of the local community, many of whom work for Alila or are producers for the resort.
